My autumn reflections are about the wonder of Mother Nature, the colours and the leaves, the joy of the moment, blessings, change, gratitude and the here and now. I have simply been loving the colourful stillness of my walks!

Photo walk is an opportunity to take a walk with me through my β€˜photo’ eyes. I often see the world through photos and love exploring my surroundings in this way.

  1. Hi mdssD

The last leaf is just beautiful, that tree must have been glorious in it’s full autumn dress. Now it will have to wait for the leaves to fall from the trees here in the southern hemisphere before it can have them back. Funny that there are only enough leaves to cover half the worlds’ trees at a time. Perhaps GOD’s lesson for us in sharing, either that or he got really bored with making all those leaves. Well I don’t mind sharing my leaves with you.

Thanks for the lovely photos D, very special, and nice to know where you are on the other side of the world, and how it looks there. At least I know where our leaves go to when they are not here.

    • MdssGilli,

Exactly, I was imagining the very same thing about the last leaf tree. She must have been beautiful in her full autumn dress. I am so happy you have worked out where the leaves go for me πŸ˜‰

  2. Love the pictures of the village – not sure I could live in the winter there, but summer might be very nice… I am a sun baby from Africa to stay in Africa…

    LOL

    have lots of fun girl…

  3. I agree the last picture is so beautiful… But I also love those skies in the different photos. Winter is my preferred season for many reasons, but I love the colors that Autumn brings to us.

    • Thank you FunkySteph. I am not sure I have a preferred season. I like them all for some reason or other, though I must admit having grown up in a warmer climate, when the snow arrives I am still just like a little child. I love it. I hope that you will love and enjoy the coming winter.
