I thought it was extremely fitting to take a slow stroll through days gone by on 1st August, the Swiss National Day. Ballenberg Open Air Museum creates a vivid impression of rural life as it once was. Buildings were transported from all over Switzerland and rebuilt here.  I particularly loved the pharmacy and its exhibitions on homeopathy and natural remedies, as well as the abundant herb gardens. My inner child came out to play as I tested myself on the essences at the ‘aroma stations’ in the garden.

Photo walk is an opportunity to take a walk with me through my ‘photo’ eyes and you can explore more of my images here.
